| The natural environment itself
is the biggest existing negative ions releaser, and among
the sources producing negative ions in the natural environment,
mines are the biggest, about 80% of the negative ions
in the atmosphere were released by it; other sources including
the waterfalls and water drops, photosynthesis, the decomposition
of the ozone layer in the stratosphere, the decomposition
of ions in the air by the ultraviolet ray, or the friction
created by lightning and thunder. The negative ions existing
in the atmosphere mostly are the oxygen hydrogen negative
ions, which possessed 95% of the negative ions in the
natural environment.
It is known that the OH negative
ions are the fountain of vitality to all the creatures;
the more the OH negative ions exist in the air, the
better the condition will be for animals, plants and
human beings to live. It's because the OH negative ions
provide the necessary nutrition for the creatures to
self-healing and defense, so it's why it is called the
Vitamin in the air.
